VOLUNTEER FAQs

We ask that you work 4 days over the course of the championship. This is divided into approximately 4 - 5 hour shifts, or about 20 hours. Shifts and hours per shift will vary slightly by committee.
Yes, children ages 14 to 17 years old can be a junior volunteer. Junior positions are limited and will volunteer as Standard Bearers. Junior volunteer applications will be available in early 2015.
The registration fee covers the uniform package outlined above and that you will select, preferred parking, a credential for the week and meals during the days you are working. In addition, you will have two (2) one-time discount coupon cards in the Merchandise Pavilion and complimentary admission into the Volunteer Appreciation Party in advance of Championship Week.
One you've completed your online registration and your payment has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your acceptance as a volunteer. Committee assignments have already been awarded. Please contact the Championship Office if you have not received your assignment.
The deadline for refunds was April 1, 2015.
Yes, your official volunteer credential is valid for the entire week of the championship and we encourage you to enjoy the championship on your off days. On days that you are working as a volunteer, before or after your shift, you are welcome to watch golf as a spectator. On days that you are not working as a volunteer, we ask that you please do not wear your official uniform.
Your online volunteer profile account details your shifts. Please address any concerns about your shift schedule to your assigned committee chair(s).
Uniform orders have already shipped. If you have not received yours, please contact the Championship Office, as they may have your order there.
We will offer multiple uniform exchange days prior to the championship.
